PAINTED VEIN is the music project of the musician, producer, and audio engineer Andrea Fox Volpato who has spent the last 10 years collaborating in writing, recording, and touring the world with different music projects.

From 2017 to 2022 Andrea was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the Italian band New Candys with whom he toured Europe, the UK, Australia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Balkans and opened tours for bands like the Dandy Warhols, Black Angels, and BJM.

Furthermore, he played in notorious festivals like Psycho Vegas, SXSW, Devilstone in Lithuania, and Levitation France. In his studio he recorded, mixed and co-produced the last two studio albums of New Candys (“Bleeding Magenta” and “Vyvyd”).
